Tuesday Oct. 10th, Day of Prayer and Fasting

In preparation for Zechariah's coming surgery I wanted to do more than just side by the sidelines and "hope for the best" as we would watch our son go through heart surgery. Then, one evening I asked God what more could be done. The idea for a day of prayer and fasting came to mind. Many of you may have asked if there was anything you could do to help us during this time. Plus, so many of you have told us you would be praying for us. So, OCTOBER 10th, 2006 has been dedicated as A DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING for ZECHARIAH KINDBERG.

Here are some ways you can focus your prayers this coming Tuesday, October 10th as you are praying & fasting. Thank you for praying.

Prayer Focus: Please pray for...

Helpful Prayer & Fasting Tips

Prayer

  1. Breath Prayers - Useful when working or busy during the day. (Ex. "Thank you for healing Zak., Lord, be with the doctors as they perform the surgery)
  2. Prayer Closet - Spend a special time away from the cares of the day with only you and the Lord. Primarily focus your prayers toward Zechariah during this time.
  3. Praise & Thanksgiving - The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart

Fasting

  1. What & How - Click here to read a great article to introduce you to the power of fasting
  2. Releasing God's Power - Click here to read a great article on this subject by Dr. Bill Bright
  3. True Fasting - Click here to read Isaiah 58 about true fasting

Please continue to pray and fast after the sun goes down on TUESDAY OCTOBER 10th A DAY of PRAYER and FASTING for ZECHARIAH KINDBERG. Continue to post your comments, send me emails of anything God may speak to you concerning his surgery or this time for our family. Maybe the Lord has a scripture to reveal to you.

Thank you for your heart felt dedication and blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into the well being of our son of and our family. May God richly reward you for your generous heart.

Love,

The Kindberg's

Scott, Kat, Zak, & Baby K

Hallelujah! I'm in. We will pray that all may be amazed and glorify God!!

Mar 2:9 "Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven'; or to say, 'Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk'?
Mar 2:10 "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--He *said to the paralytic,
Mar 2:11 "I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home."
Mar 2:12 And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."
